Breathe Outdoors: Angel’s Rest Hike
Saturday, May 31st | Meet at trailhead at 9:00 AM ⛰️ or carpool from Happy Valley at 8:20 AM 🚗
Join us for a morning on one of the Columbia River Gorge’s most iconic trails—Angel’s Rest, a 4.5-mile out-and-back hike with 1,489 feet of elevation gain and panoramic views that make every step worthwhile. 🌄
We’ll spend about 3 hours together, moving through nature, taking in breathtaking vistas of the Columbia River Gorge, and—on a clear day—spotting Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Adams from the summit. 🏞️
After the hike, we’ll head into downtown Troutdale to gather and refuel at The Highlands food cart pod—a great way to wrap up a morning of movement and connection. 🍽️💬
This hike offers a meaningful challenge and a beautiful opportunity to connect with the outdoors and with each other. Come for the movement, the views, the community—or all three. 💛

Enjoy a calming tea service 🍵 upon arrival—please plan to come 15 minutes early to settle in, sip, and get comfortable. Doors will close at the event start time to maintain a peaceful experience for all.
We’ll begin with a simple seated meditation 🧘♀️ to help you arrive and connect with your breath. From there, you’ll ease into a supported resting posture—free to move or adjust as needed for comfort.
Ali will offer gentle, intuitive Reiki 🤲 while Gabrielle creates an immersive soundscape 🎶 with crystal singing bowls, chimes, and other soothing instruments. We'll close with a few grounding moments 🌿 before you return to the rest of your evening.

Breathe Outdoors: Forest Bathing at McIver State Park 🌲

Step into stillness and reconnect with nature 🌿 during this mindful forest bathing experience. Join us at beautiful Milo McIver State Park as we gently meander through the trees 🌳, taking time to slow down, awaken the senses 👣, and foster a deeper connection with the natural world around us.
Unlike a traditional hike, forest bathing is about presence over pace 🐢. We’ll move slowly along a relatively flat path, pausing often to observe, breathe 🌬️, and experience the forest in a way we rarely allow ourselves to in everyday life.
This 90-minute journey is an invitation to come home to yourself through nature 💚.
